Founder/Story
Kory Minor
The story of 04 Development Group begins long before any property was acquired or any ground was broken — it begins with a six-year-old boy from Inglewood, California with an audacious dream. Every Saturday morning, a young Kory Minor would sit glued to the television watching Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. Every time they scored, he scored — running laps around the apartment he shared with his mother and sister, celebrating as if he were on the field himself. That dream wasn't just a childhood fantasy. It was the first proof of a principle that would define everything Kory would go on to build: when you lock onto a vision with unwavering belief, you find a way.
That belief carried him to Notre Dame, where he started under legendary Coach Lou Holtz as a freshman and went on to become a four-year star and team captain. Kory is 3rd all-time in sacks and 2nd all-time in tackles for loss. He graduated in just 3½ years with a degree in Marketing from the Mendoza College of Business, was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, and went on to play for the Carolina Panthers — proving that discipline, preparation, and desire could take a kid from a small apartment in Southern California all the way to the biggest stages in the world.
After football, Kory didn't slow down — he redirected. He always knew he wanted to learn the business side of life beyond football and had the entrepreneurial spirit to pursue it. He scaled an eight-figure Domino's Pizza franchise operation, built a career as an internationally recognized speaker and coach, and eventually turned his sights toward real estate — the next great arena to compete in.
That's where 04 Development Group was born.
